The first edition of the kids race was a lot of fun and we’re looking forward to kids racing action at Cochran’s. This race is open to the community. Initially we designed it for the kids of racers, race directors and volunteers, but this year we’d love to have any kids that like to run.
Free for all kids, but we would like everyone to register online ahead of time if possible, so we know how many kids to expect. Kids may register day of race. Visit our Registration page for full details.
Prizes: Medals, Untapped Waffles and lollipops
Kids Race Course: Start and Finish for all kids race is at the wooden platform between the parking lot and ski trails.
The lollipop course will be a very short “here to there” type race right at the bottom of the alpine ski trails.
The one and two lap races go out and around Rock n’ Roll trail (two lap race will go around a second time), then run back the same way to the finish line at the wooden platform. The beginning of this course is out in the open, then quickly goes up a hill and into the woods on a single track.
