Just over 2 weeks to race day! We’ve been mapping out a few improvements to the course layout that we’re excited to share. The basics are still very similar to previous years:
- big loop (~5mi), followed by small loop (~2mi)
- up-down-up on the alpine slope before entering the single track
- start/KOM/finish all stay the same
New things to look forward to:
- no more merging on the descent: loop 2 now descends “Mother’s Day”, a single track on the opposite side of the hill.
- the alpine slope section of the course now features the mid-west side terrain (basically mirror-image of what we have done in the past), with a nice headwall and some pine groves to cap things off.
