Spend the Night on Site

Once again Sleepy Hollow is available for overnights either at the Inn or camping.

In addition to being a trail center, Sleepy Hollow is also complete with an 8 bedroom Inn, a hike/run accessible cabin, and a field for tent camping.  Email info@skisleepyhollow.com now for Inn & cabin reservations (there is not usually anyone at the phone this time of year).  No need to reserve a tent space, just check in at the front desk when you arrive).  Details below:

The Inn

Sleepy Hollow Inn is a relaxing beautiful place to stay in the hills and hollows of Huntington, Vermont. We have eight distinctively furnished guest rooms within our renovated lodge.  Each offering large spacious rooms with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains.  Unwind at night in our wood-fired sauna located next to our swimming pond. Simply request a time for your sauna, and we’ll have it hot for you (holds up to eight). We offer free wireless internet to our guests, available around the Inn and Round Barn Event Center.  Our down-to-earth, friendly, and comfortable inn also features our two guest living rooms. One has a large fieldstone fireplace, while the other has ample reading couches.

Special Sleepy Hollow Race Rate: $100/room for up to 2 guests, plus 9% tax.  Most rooms have the option of fold-out couches or trundle beds for additional people, $10/extra guest.  This rate is for room only, breakfast not included.  Coffee and tea will be provided!   More information here, email info@skisleepyhollow.com for reservations.

The Cabin

The Butternut Cabin features a woodstove, picnic table, four bunks, a loft, and a great view. Users must bring sleeping bags/pads for overnights. Butternut Cabin is located one mile from our main lodge, and is accessible only by hike/bike/run in summer. There is no running water or electricity, but there is an outhouse and a spectacular view! The cabin rental includes firewood, but please bring matches, paper and kindling if you plan to light up the woodstove.

$50/night for up to 4 guests and $5 pp extra up to 12 guests, plus 9% tax. More information here, email info@skisleepyhollow.com for reservations.

Camping

**New** There are now 4 freshly built lean-tos next to Molly’s Meadow!  First come, first serve on race weekend.

Don’t forget to bring your own towel.  Sleepy Hollow has showers for campers, but they do not supply towels.

The start/finish area of the race is located at Molly’s Meadow, an open grassy field well suited to tent camping as well as a pavilion (wooden platform under roof cover).  You are welcome to bring a tent and set-up camp.  If you choose a spot in the actual start/finish zone you may need to “move out” before the race starts.  Bathroom and shower facilities at the Inn will be available for your use.

$15/tent.  No need to call for reservations, just check in at the Inn upon arrival.
